What exactly is "A 100 days"?


Welcome internet to my first devlog ever!

Let's go straight to the topic and answer some hot questions!

Who is developing this game?
At the moment there are two people who are working on the project:
Tobias (Me) = Game designer and Pixel artist
Stefan = Programmer and Game designer

The goal of this project is to build a team out of us two and the community to make not just this game but many other in the future. As Stefan is new to unity and Tobias is new to making pixel art we decided to make a reasonable small game which mostly exists out of interface and text.
But that does not mean that we don't stay behind this project, yes we did set a lot of constraints for us but we both have the passion to make this game as good as possible. We want to release a game which we both are proud of!

What is this game?
In this game you have to survive 100 days, you lose if you die before that.
To survive you have to manage your resources as you have to eat and drink permanently while observing your health, but be aware because winter is coming!
While you do follow one activity per day you have to craft stuff as you can encounter many different situations..or least you will as soon as the game contains them.

State of the game:
At the moment the game is in a very early phase and therefore no build is available. However, next week the first playable version will be done and we will begin doing first playtest.
Two or three weeks later we want to release the first public version so everyone can test the game out and give us feedback!

Features that will definitely be in the game are:
- Activities
- Items
- Inventory
- Random events

While those are the pure basics the game needs to function we already have a half dozen ideas we probably want to add but we don't want to overwhelm us with too many features and want to get sure that everyone features to enhance the experience.
